Overheating Engine



Incorrect fuel  mixture will give your engine an overheating problem. Check for the carburetor for some malfunctions. Clogged passage, worn parts and fuel level in the float bowl should be check. incorrect size of jets also give this problem, make sure that your carburetor supply your engine the correct amount of fuel and air mixture.

Lubrication in the engine should be check always to prevent your engine oil getting low in level. Use the right engine oil type for your engine to make sure it will not cause any problems. If the coolant level gets low its cooling performance will also minimized. Check your cooling system for any clogged and worn parts. Fan motor, fan relay and fan blade should be in good condition. In case of you are using a radiator, check for any clogged passage and water pump problems.

Over Cooling may also happen in your scooter engine if the cooling components are incorrect. Thermostatic switch and thermostat should also be checked.
